Hard and unexpected times are stressful. Having to worry about money in those moments may seem unbearable. Being prepared for the unknown beforehand is helpful.
A time already uncertain enough for our graduating high school and college seniors who may be asking themselves many questions such as what is next, what should I major in, or who do I want to be when I grow up? This year, that world is more uncertain than ever. But after seeing how everyone has been pulling together and the grade with which our 2020 grads have been handling everything thus far, we believe there is a bright future to look forward to.
Today looks a lot different than it did a month ago. Many of us have taken on different roles, are working from home, and our routines are all but gone. When things are out of our control, most of how we handle it is up to us. We can dwell on the negativity or we can find the positive.
One month ago, my wife and I stood atop Camelback Mountain in Phoenix after a rigorous, but enjoyable climb to the summit. The temperature was around 60 degrees, but the bright Arizona sun made it feel much warmer. I don’t remember seeing anyone wearing masks, let alone practicing social distancing.
