We're In This Together

Insights

A Word from our CCO and COO, Crystal Weber

These are the times in life we all pull together, now more than ever. Yes, we need to remain socially distanced, but we will continue to thrive as the strong team unit that we have always been. It’s been said that chaos crafts us. How will this shape us? At FSB, we’re using it as an opportunity to become something even better.

I’ve witnessed some truly heartwarming scenes both in-person and on social media lately. Communities pulling together to help struggling small businesses survive. Neighbors standing in their respective driveways singing happy birthday in unison to their neighbor across the street. Friends on Facebook getting mailed a pack of toilet paper via USPS after they have been unable to find any and had been completely out. Children holding signs with heartfelt messages from outside the windows of their elderly grandparents in a nursing home. The list goes on and on. These countless random acts of kindness and pay-it-forwards to remind us that we really are all in this together. And yes, although it is a time of fear and unknown, deep down we know we’re going to be OK.

While our team may not be face-to-face with you right now, we’re still always here. In the background, we’re monitoring your investments and making sure you are still on the correct path for your long-term goals. In the foreground, we are still always a quick call, email, or Zoom meeting away. Stay the course and enjoy the ride. While the times are turbulent, we are living in a time that is truly unprecedented, and will be long-remembered. We’ll get through this together and when life returns to normal we’ll be that much stronger for it.

We look forward to seeing you again soon. Take care, and stay healthy.

Crystal Weber
