Meet Jacob Myrvik - Premier's Chief Compliance Officer and Operations Manager.
Jacob joined the Premier team in 2017. Since then he has continued to pass multiple licensing exams, including his Series 7, 24 and 66. He started taking over compliance responsibilities in May of last year and officially became our Chief Compliance Officer in January of 2022. Jacob always greets our clients with a positive attitude and a willingness to help! You can always count on him to take the time needed to answer all of your questions.
When Jacob is not at work, you can find him playing disc golf with his dog Foster or hanging out with his wife Sarah. He and Sarah love having movie marathons or playing board games together. They recently watched all of the Marvel movies. If you ask Jacob which Marvel movie is his favorite, he'll tell you there are too many to pick from! Jacob and Sarah have a plethora of board games to choose from but if they are in it for the long haul, they will break out Everdell. The first time they played, it took more than 4 hours to complete! Jacob is also an avid Dungeons and Dragons player.
One of Jacob's favorite roles these days is being uncle to his brother's son Koji. Jacob's camera role is full of selfies with his nephew. It is easy to see the joy Jacob finds in his new role.
Jacob's approachable attitude is what sets him apart! He understands financial planning can be intimidating and will put your mind at ease. He is always ready and willing to answer any of your hard hitting financial planning questions. If you are looking for comfort in your financial planning, Jacob's your guy!
