EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT-MEET BEN SAAK

We’re excited to welcome Ben Saak to the FSB Premier team as the newest Operations Assistant!

Ben joined Premier in the fall of 2023, bring in valuable experience from his previous role as a Customer Service Representative at Farmers State Bank. Since joining our team, he has successfully earned multiple licensing credentials, including seven securities licenses, demonstrating his hard work and commitment to growth. 

Ben grew up in Grundy Center, later moving to Cedar Falls, where he attended Cedar Falls high school and went on to earn a degree in Business Management at the University of Northern Iowa. Today, he and his wife of three years, Elizabeth, live in Reinbeck. 

Outside of work, Ben enjoys a wide variety of hands-on hobbies and outdoor activities. He will often be found golfing, disc golfing, or playing pickleball. He also enjoys working on vehicles and taking on home improvement projects which range from remodeling and woodworking to landscaping, for both friends and his family. And in his downtime that Ben has, he usually enjoys watching football and golf. 

Recently Ben, Elizabeth, and their family took a fun-filled vacation to Cozumel, Mexico, where they stayed at resort and explored the island through a guided tour, soaking up the sights, culture, and views that the area had to offer.

A fun fact about Ben: he has owned 14 vehicles all before the age of 25! Remarkably, he has never been in an accident with any of them. 

One quote that resonates with Ben is from Vince Lombardi: “Five minutes early is ten minutes late.” We’re thrilled to have Ben as a part of the Premier team and look forward to all the great things he will accomplish!
